Been a loooong year!

And its only just the beginning!

Paige has had infection after bug after illness so far this year and has certainly put things behind!
But i'm slowly getting there, trial kits are up and running and a tiny waiting list is even starting to form!
I've even got a couple of orders on the go for artwork and keepsake boxes too which is brilliant :)

Wedding planning coming along and i've even now bought my dress!

So all in all still ticking along even with a poorly baby. So this is what it's like to be a mum eh ;)

Branching Out

So it turns out the people are actually interested in my artwork!

I always wanted to do art and somehow make a living from it but thought it was just a dream but now it seems that I may actually be able to sell some!

I have done a few things of various shapes and sizes and will basically be offering a custom service for almost anything you want.

Going to look at setting up a website to sell more and who knows, maybe my dream of being a Work At Home Mum could come true? Watch this space ;)

First Xmas

Well Paigey's first xmas went really well :D lots of family and she got soooo many presents!
Dinner went ok but i completely forgot the crackers and ended up not having any this year boo :o

After much worry and horrendous nights Paigey is finally on the mend, temp lasted 4days and then was followed but bunged upness etc but she is in a much better mood today :)

Also got to open my fluffypost secret santa gift that's been staring at me from the christmas tree at last and look what i got!






A beautiful ceramic moneybox and a fantastic personalised nappy! (is more of a hot pink but pic doesn't show)

So wonderful to get surprise fluff :D

Tomorrow is christmas eve and my partners parents are coming down to stay and on christmas afternoon the whole family will be round for paige's first christmas! Pic's will surely follow later ^^

Poorly Baby

I have a poorly baby :(
High temp all weekend along with other things. Doc thinks its just a virus and should hopefully go soon but im just hoping she will be well in time for her first Christmas this week.
So hopefully my next blog will be of Xmassy joy and lots of pics with a well baby smiling away.

Well a little while ago i managed to make contact with the Devon Real Nappy project!
I met with two really lovely ladies yesterday and i am now going to set up to advise for them and to run some trial kits for my local area!

This is so exciting, i even mentioned some ideas i had for events and they seemed interested so i'm glad i don't seem like some mad nappy obsessed weirdo lol!

So its time to dive back into my nappy advising and really get things moving at last :)

Tesco's stock Tot Bots

Tesco's have started to stock UK based cloth nappy company tot bot's nappies.

This in one sense is a major break through for the cloth nappy world as before now the only cloth nappies available in stores like this were pre-folds and terry's - not the ideal promotion for the modern and easy world of fluff! Now Tesco's are stocking Tot Bots easy-fit's a wonderful pocket nappy in funky patterns and colours (and actually one of my favourites)

Now whilst this is great for the promotion of cloth nappies you cant help but wonder what this will mean for the little independent online shops and even the WAHM mums.
